What car models can Nexgenkey Smart Car Key be used for?

The product is compatible with all car models equipped with push-button start and where inserting a physical key to start is not required.

For variants without a push start, Nexgenkey can be installed on one key, and the other key has to be used for starting the vehicle. Or you can install the Nexgenkey push start system, that will enable remote starting and phone app for lock, unlock and starting the car. Contact customer care for more queries.

Nexgenkey uses an advanced patented method of using your original car key circuit board for generating all signals and communicating with the car. Instead of pressing physical buttons on your original key to operate, Nexgenkey operates those buttons digitally. There is neither any change in the security status of the vehicle nor any tampering.

Yes. We provide an OBD port sensor which needs to be plugged in the OBD port of the car, located in the lower right corner of the car under the steering wheel. Once plugged in and the vehicle started, it will program itself according to the vehicle and start working.

Our product range has two options when it comes to battery life. The Slate and Edge have a USB rechargeable lithium battery which can be used for about 7 days. After 7 days, even if the screen is not displayed because of low battery, the physical buttons on the panel can be used for about over 6 months.

The Tron Blade & Nova have a USB rechargeable lithium battery which can be used for about 6 months for the TRON and BLADE models and 9 months for the NOVA variant.

The touch screen on TRON and Blade is powered for about 8-10 days basis usage, while on NOVA it is powered for up to 6 months on a single charge. Charging time for all variants is 4-5 hours for a full charge.

The principle of this product is to transfer all capabilities of your existing regular remote to a smart touch screen remote. If the car is equipped with a feature, it will certainly be carried forward. For cars that need remote starting specifically, a remote start kit needs to be installed.

Nexgenkey installation is a completely reversible process. In case you decide to transfer a set to a new car, just send it to us and we will revert your key back to the original setup, while transferring the Nexgenkey to the new car.

Nexgenkey are high tech keys with Bridge tech that connect to your original car key. No changes are made to their car or the security system and hence no approval is needed from the company or insurance. They essentially function as “electronic key covers” for your original car keys that enhance its functions.

Returns & Refund Policy

Easy Returns

Our ‘Returns Policy’ makes it possible for you to return a product easily in case you receive a product which is damaged, defective or significantly different from what was purchased. Requests for returns and refunds must be raised immediately upon receipt of the product, and no later than 3 days from the date of receipt of the product.

  • Full refund (back to source) if the item is defective (will be tested upon receipt by our team).
  • Full refund* (back to source) if the customer is not satisfied with the performance. But the returned item should be as good as new.
  • Deductions in forward shipping cost and 2% transaction fees will be applicable during the case of multiple returns and clearance sale products.
  • Care should be taken in opening and checking the product. In case of scratches/tampering, worn out paint, returns will not be processed and item will be sent back.
  • Fake returns are not entertained. All products will be scanned under camera when received. Any counterfeit, duplicate, returns of items bought from other market places will not be eligible for refund and will be forfeited.
  • Returns will not be accepted if any of warranty conditions are violated.

Warranty will be void in the following scenarios and returns will not be accepted. They are as follows:

1. Any physical damage, breakage, water ingestion to the smart keys or other electrical accessories.

2. Using high wattage chargers with more than 5 amp current for charging the devices.

3. Using the product in a manner that is not as per standard usage of the product.

4. Using the product under commercial usage.

5. Opening the device or tampering with the internals of the device/product.

All returns must be shipped by the customer via secured shipment insured for bill value, to the address mentioned below:

Post receipt, refund will be issued in 5-7 working days.

The customers can cancel the order anytime before dispatch. After receiving the cancellation request, we’ll refund the settled amount back to the source.
